I trust this message finds you in good health. We are thrilled to share a significant development that unfolded on Friday, September 8th, 2023. A distinguished delegation, comprised of our Immediate Past National President, Mrs. Joyce Kwateng, Executive Vice President, Fofogan Doku; Senate Chair, Senator Emmanuel Nii Noi Dowuona and our National General Secretary, Barikisu Suleiman had the honor of visiting the Switzerland Embassy in Ghana. Dr. Simone Haeberli, Deputy Head of Mission/Head of Cooperation, warmly received our delegation on behalf of the Ambassador, who is currently out of the country.

The purpose of this visit was to engage in a meaningful dialogue with Ambassador Simone Giger focusing on the following key points:

1. Introduction to JCI and its Impactful Projects: Our delegation showcased the outstanding work of JCI Ghana within our communities. We emphasized our organization's dedication to driving positive change and the remarkable impact we have achieved over the years.

2. Exploring Areas of Collaboration: Discussions were initiated with the Embassy regarding potential collaboration opportunities. These encompassed projects and initiatives where JCI Ghana and the Switzerland Embassy can collaborate to amplify our collective efforts for societal betterment.

3. JCI World Congress in Switzerland: The upcoming JCI World Congress in Switzerland was discussed. We conveyed the significance of this event for our members, highlighting the extensive learning and networking prospects it offers. Furthermore, we emphasized the importance of expediting the visa process for our members to facilitate their participation.

We are pleased to report that the courtesy call visit proved highly constructive, with officials at the Switzerland Embassy in Ghana displaying a keen interest in our organization and its objectives. They acknowledged the potential for collaboration and recognized the importance of streamlining the visa process for our members.

This promising development opens doors to exciting partnerships and more efficient processes for our members to participate in the JCI World Congress.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the delegation members who represented National President Emmanuel Osei, who is currently participating in the JCI National Convention,  and JCI Ghana with utmost professionalism and dedication.
